Just as title says.
Who runs an under seat subwoofer and if you do what size.....8" or 10".
I have STD stereo and just want to fill the bass that's missing. Don't need to be competition winning bass....just enough to fill the lower end the STD system can't reach.....on a budget.
I have speakers in the rear also but nothing special.

I find the Etons good for adding bass.
I mean, you wouldn’t want to enter a Southend Seafront Sound-off, but you’ll appreciate the upgrade.

I have a JL 10w3 under my seat curtesy of @Absolut5 and I could not recommend it (or Jason) highly enough. It’s absolutely spot on; perfect amount of bass and with the signature set up the sound is so dialed

That's tickled me.....I'm an Essex boy and spent my boy racer days there before I moved away in 2001 to Scotland...lol

Hi @Yzfr1 ..I’ve got the Elton 10 under my rear seat ( kombi) didn’t use front seats as battery and other electrics hidden away ,but can still remove seat as it’s got a Connector at floor level

Are you happy with its performance?
The performance is great (wife won’t agree..umm) ...it can all be adjusted from the head unit ( Kenwood) but it does come with its own +/- adjuster ....it does really add that extra bass when needed....sorry but im old school...if you play a tune ..Play It ;)

Is your the 8" or the 10" version?

Anyone running one under a swivel base?
I’m running an absolute custom box with a JL Audio 10” sub. I have OEM swivels so the base of the seat is open. In my old van I had the same but with a Sportscraft swivel. It closed the sub off quire a bit and was prone to vibrating at certain frequencies

It’s funny - as soon as I saw who’d liked it, I knew it’d be some Essex boys.. you and @Dellmassive :cool:
Lol.... The Southend Cruise.

Up and down the strip, round, and round, and round.

Yeh I was there, 2x 15" subs in the back of a mk1 Fiesta, Blue Neons iside and out and a CherryBomb instead of a BackBox. Half covered in grey primer, CB aerial on roof.... ah those were the days.......The Weekend religious race to the coast......

Cant do it now, they have ANPR speed cameras and speed bumps everywhere.

I think the Lakeside Cruise took some of that limelight.....but that wasnt my scene. (Too many numptys about)

I've recently done this using some old stereo bits I've had kicking about.lwb kombi.

Bought a few basics from absolute.Built a 10" enclosure for under the passenger seat, amp and bass control under the driver's seat.( Out of sight of the kids)
Rear speakers Infront of my sliding bulkhead in the roof.
A fair amount of dodo mat and running off the standard headunit.
Pleasantly surprised with the results. The front speakers will be changed at some point but for now they are good enough as there is less bass going through them. But clearer clarity would be nice.

What sub and amp did you go for?
