Which Spec?

Hi
First Post I think. I'm going to be ordering a t6 kepler one and need to run by you experienced t6 owners for advice.
It's going to be right hand drive.
White paint.
Uprate the engine to 150hp.
Dsg gearbox
Awning.
Kepler pack(almost compulsory).
Roof insulation.
Second battery.
Multifunction steering wheel.
I think that's all.
What I'm looking for is any advice on the spec, things you can't live without and any thing I should add or takeaway please

LED headlights, and parking sensors/ camera are the things I could not be without. There are loads of things in the nice to have list, but these are my must have’s.

It gives you, painted bumpers, auto windscreen wipers, 5inch screen and couple of xtra small options
Is this a VW option or some aftermarket/ foreign variant? I see you’re in London but point out that you’re ordering a RHD, so I wonder if this is a non-UK option. Sounds like a Trendline trim or similar.
I’d certainly go for LED or H7 headlights and depending on your intended usage & depth of your pockets:- 4motion, ACC, air-con.....

It's a kepler one, which is done by westfalia in France. All the standard vans are left hand drive, made in German so westfalia have to order some in right hand drive for the UK Market. There's a lot as standard just a few optional extras

Every day’s a school day. So what are the advantages of going down this route? Cheaper, better equipment??

It would easier to Google the van really. Westfalia are doing some very nice conversions.
Ahh! I misunderstood your initial post, I thought you were ordering a base van for conversion & the “Kepler one” was a model variant like “highline or Trendline” for e.g. It’s all clear now.

Hi Kingpopsy, we are looking at both the Kepler 1 and Jules Verne with a view to purchase sometime soon. I've got a few questions if you don't mind?
What spec did you settle on and are you happy with it?
Is there anything you wished you'd had, alternatively wish you hadn't had?
Has everything met your expectations on terms quality, have there been any problems?
Did you purchase from Harbour Creek or Camper Sales, was it a good experience?
Are you enjoying the Kepler?
Has the storage proved sufficient?
Is the lounge area roomy enough/comfortable for 2 people?
Is the roof bed comfortable?
Did you have a solar panel fitted?
Did you have 2 leisure batteries fitted?
Have you wild camped? If so did the Kepler perform well?
What is the longest time that you've spent in the van and was it OK (we are thinking of being in it for a couple of months)?
What advice would you give to someone getting ready to invest a large some of money into a Kepler?
Any other advice would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

Nice to see some more Westies in the house :D
Be aware though, as pointed out, the Keplers (and I believe the Marco Polos) are made at the Rapido factory in France rather than the Westfalia factory in Germany like the Club Jokers and the rest of the range. I haven't heard of any build quality issues though so they're hopefully still being made to German standards

Yes so I understand re Rapido. I've looked at several now (its been a very long journey) and they do look well put together. The newly introduced mattress storage (tamber door) looks like it could be a bit fragile. Talking of which it looks like the lounge area has taken a hit to make the additional space. I've also seen a video for the 2020 Jules Verne and it looks as if a new toilet has been introduced, not sure if this will be rolled out on the Kepler???? Then there is the new T6.1 coming out along with new Vito engines.
