Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Shortish trip to Fountains Abbey for a mooch round and give the van a run.
Cold and overcast when we set off and got there. Eventually the sun came out and everything was good!
Stopped by the big lake for coffee and cake and had a few inquisitive guests! IMG_5066.webp

Just spent a great 3 days at Stud Farm in Telscombe Village, between Peacehaven and Seaford.
Basic well spaced out site, all grass, no EHU, small toilet block with sinks (2 men’s, 2 ladies), outside washing up area. Very clean.
A couple of unisex showers (but didn’t brave them as they are very upfront that their water pressure is very low and didn’t fancy being dripped on).
Great for walking as in the South Downs National park and also right on the edge of Common land that takes you right down to Seaford within 15mins. Footpaths everywhere.
It’s a working farm so sheep in the next field.
They also do Alpaca walks and will deliver fresh farm produce to your pitch (We didn’t partake).
It’s an exposed site, so quite breezy, but the views are good.
And it’s dog friendly.

The pheasant has figured out that the ducks don't get shot at?
I was horrified to learn that the pheasant is not indigenous to Scotland the other day. 😳 o_O
I’ve known for a long time that they are bred and released into the countryside for to be shot at by rich people but had no idea that they are of Asian origin.
Should of bloody known as everything comes from China these days
