I’m off to Iceland in august for a week.
Not with the camper though.
It’s a fishing trip.
Staying in lodges on the river bank and fishing for salmon sea trout and sea run artic char.
It looks spectacular and I can’t wait.

Day 3 at Old Warden, wind has calmed down a lot, so looking forward to a great air display. Day visitor cars are already queuing at the entrance but their gate doesn't open till 9am, not like us campers who are already inside. No ehu here, but the battery is holding up well so far... Must be at least 30 T6/5/4 vans here among hundreds of vans, caravans and tents of all sizes.

Nice to see pretty much everywhere is sunnier than here!

I remember the first time I slept in my van. It were on the A426 just coming into Lutterworth. Scuffed a wheel, spilt me Pepsi max and dropped me monster munch on the floor.

Nice to see pretty much everywhere is sunnier than here!

You wouldn't like it here as it's actually too hot, while looking for our platform at Gare St.Jean Bordeaux back to the campsite in Arcachon one of the station workers asked us if we needed water as I looked like a salami and the wife looked like she had escaped from a sauna... 35 C and no breeze.

currently on the Lüneberger Heide just outside Soltau, having come from the Harz mountains this morning. Got a couple of Herfies (currency of the BOAR) to toast my Dad (who was based close to here), and who we lost last year. IYKYK.

It was the colour and the pearlescent finish as much as anything that caught my eye, the cure for the automative dreary fifty shades of grey that have been around far too long, this thing popped.
