Wheel Alignment - Cheshire, help/recommendation needed

I was anoyed at myself as when I went to print the rear toe had altered when I locked the nut off as I need to get off the ramp so it’s 1 out lol

Pointless having a four wheel alignment, you should pop back there cause I could sell them a pair of Dunlop gauges they would find more useful

so what is the standard for deviation in wheel alignment? Like how much is considered a lot out? Does each vehicle have its own required settings, where do you find that info?

The setting parameters are displayed on your pictures but ideally you want to get it in the middle of the designated spec

Why does everyone bang on about Hunter it’s not the only equipment out there ? Just saying kwik fit use hunter and I would not let them put air in my tyres

It does scare me that KWIKFIT have it now, as I agree with what you have said above.

Its a great system for us - Works perfectly and is user friendly.

I totally agree the problem as always is with the operator providing the machine Is calibrated correct. I too have contemplated visiting Bognor motors as they seem to understand and care about the Transporters.

We look forward to seeing you :)

I’m considering driving to Bognor ( @BognorMotors ) 300 miles ...to get the alignment done....but didn’t tell the wife want TVS map on DSG at same time :inlove::inlove:

Mums the word with us

Just booked with you Guys...to do the stuff the trouble’n’strife doesn’t see.....that’s the trick as long as she can’t see visual changes she won’t know what you’ve brought

Today at sunny Bognor +4 deg ( who said down south was warm ! ) Van dropped off ... now the anticipation mounts :grin bounce:
How did you get on with this? I’m still in the same boat, vans shredded a back tyre place in Congleton got it on the ramp saying there’s nothing much out and getting frustrated when I’m suggesting something else is amiss by the way it’s destroying one rear tyre. Really need someone who understands suspension geometry and has common sense to look at what’s happening and realise somethings wrong.

Wish I could find a mechanic that’s as good with customers as I am with mine, actually gives a F about the outcome.

Hi. Feel your pain ..other than BM…some of the northern members go to TunedUK not used them yet …give them a ring

not used them yet but would value your feed back if you do :)

ps …BM did a great job but I had the DSG done so it was worth the trip…

I’ve had constant alignment issues on my T32 with B14’s, but since Bognor fitted adjustable rear poly bushes (about 12 months ago) and did a 4 wheel alignment my tyre wear has been perfect. I think my wheels were aligned before Bognor even got the Hunter, but my tyre wear currently is 7mm rear both sides and 6mm front both sides which is a first for me.

I haven’t been but reading through various topics it looks like in our area (I’m in Congleton too) the suspension specialists are @CRS Performance in Cannock, Without going down to see Oli @BognorMotors he might be the best bet.
Hi ….only one problem with that Steve hasn’t got a wheel alignment machine….after he fits suspension bits and bobs he recommends you get the alignment done after..
