Hi All

Just wondering what topper most people are using for their RIB 112?

Please feel free to comment with other toppers and feedback...

Cheers

duvalay topper all day long tried the dunelm toppers duvalay beats them hands down

Duvalay sleeping bag..5cm freshtec. Have tried a few cheaper options, air mattress, 3-fold foam topper..yes it’s £££ but so is trying out all the options which won’t be right for you

We're using this one. £90 on amazon at the moment. Amazing night's sleep. Super comfortable and highly recommended

We just bought a memory foam mattress topper from IKEA and used it last night - and it was transformational!

I haven’t tried a Duvalay or anything so can’t compare like-for-like but it was about half the price and I can’t see how we could have been more comfortable. It was a ‘Nordberget’ and as I say, I’m perfectly happy with it.

We've recently tried Panda but it was too soft for us and we could still feel the boards underneath. Then we added a 2.5cm firm foam sheet underneath... better but ultimately took up too much room.
We've settled on a Trail self inflating mattress similar to the outdoor revolution one, with a thin mattress protector on top. Strikes the right balance between comfort and space for us, with the obvious drawback of having to deflate, though we roll all the bedding up together so it's not too bad.

+1 for thin SIM and foam topper. We have a thin SIM from outdoor rev and the mattress from the roof bed. This gives the max comfort for min packed space. We pop the valves on the mattress and roll it back during the day. Would be good to travel like this to make it quicker to setup the bed but always have too much stuff not to have use of the top of the RIB bed for gear (hold all’s for clothes, shoe carrier, the SIM etc leaving a small gap to see out the rear window)

After scrolling thru various discussions on the subject here, and weighing up the pros / cons of self-inflating mattresses, Duvulays and other options, went to Dunelm and paid £65 for a small double (122cm x 190cm) topper which fits very nicely. Ready for the new season - time will tell whether it does the job.

First night away last night with this new topper. Together with the standard thin foam mat from the (Reimo) pop top, it definitely made a difference, and Mrs GUMY had a better night's sleep  Should point out that ours is the 120 RIB, but I guess it would fit OK on a 112 (with the sides turned up a bit).

Inofia Tri Fold Mattress Small Double, 10cm Gel Comfort Memory Foam Folding Mattress with Washable Cover, Pressure Relief, Guest Bed, Traveling, Bed in a Box, 100-Night Trial, 190 X 120 X 10cm

On a 115 approx wide California bench and backboard. Back corner cut out. Gap is about 118 to Evo side kitchen so fit a bit squidged but fine. V comfy. Paid about £100 for it 6 months ago. Sits on backboard during day.

Takes up space, but for years used a rolled up 5cm topper and was never that comfy.

Am thinking of getting one of these below. Anyone bought one? Any good?

The duvalay advertised on here is 2 x 2.5 cm singles that will be too thin and too wide when placed side by side on the bed and also my Mrs isn't interested in buying used matress toppers

The one I'm considering is fitted for a rib 112 with the bulkead cut out, it's 5cm deep and it's within my budget.

I have taken the plunge and bought the 5cm clearcut campervan topper for RIB 112. Hopefully it'll be suitable. Can't be any worse than the 2.5xm limp topper we already had. Will update when the GLW has tested it hehe

How are you getting on with the 112 clearcut topper?

I am in the process of getting a topper and can't decide between this and the duvalay 115.
