Saying that, what width are your new rims? Staggered?
There 9j's I think

All round?There 9j's I think
All round?
I couldn't resist sorry. Yeah theyre not staggered. I have 20mm spacers on the back and no issueYep... they wouldn't work if they were triangles
275's too wide for an 8.5! My original tyres were 35 profile, I ended up with 2 cracked rims...Yep... they wouldn't work if they were triangles
Get some new staggered wheels!!!!!I couldn't resist sorry. Yeah theyre not staggered. I have 20mm spacers on the back and no issue
Oli at Bognor would probably say 265's all round? So I guess I need some new 245/45's for the front then. Oh well! Hehe
Or 255's with a 45 sidewall? Can you get those? So I guess I need some new 245/45's for the front then. Oh well! Hehe
The height is a percentage of the width so 40% of 275 is 110mm and 45% of 245 is 110.25mm, so the 245/45 is actually a very slightly higher sidewall NOT lower. Zero loss in comfort in a like for like spec tyre.Yep. The fronts are 275/40's like the old ones were but i think the offset is different so now she doesn't like any undulating road surface. @Bigsidavies has advised to go 245/45 on the front and I think he might be on to something. Although i wonder if a lower profile will wreck the comfort. Maybe 255... meh.

In theory, yes, a tyre slope inwards more the narrower you go. I can’t comment on whether that would be enough on yours runs though, as I have no experience in that respect unfortunately.Oh my god I've gone cross wyed
So the side wall slopes inwards in this ratio and should slope away from the arch liner?
How easy are they to wire in?
Very, just tap into the back of the lighting circuit. So for the dash, use the back of the headlight switch. Grey/blue wire is the light signal and ground (brown)How easy are they to wire in?
Cool, don't happen to have a link for the kitVery, just tap into the back of the lighting circuit. So for the dash, use the back of the headlight switch. Grey/blue wire is the light signal and ground (brown)
