What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Simple job but one that makes me happy.

Stripped the OEM USB socket out to see what makes it tick as I have changed the head unit so no longer works, and have discovered that after stripping the plug, that my USB connections that came with my new stereo wedge perfectly into half of the old USB plug surround. Little trim here and there and a bit of sikaflex later and I have a working USB plug again.

New Flywheel, clutch and clutch slave...

I'm quite annoyed to have to do the clutch and flywheel as they were fine. However, at 155k they were well past there expected life so when the slave cylinder let go, it was a no brainer.
~ £1450 for LUK parts at a VW indy. She drives much better now, to be fair.

I've got a Fiamma F43van, specially designed for van fitment rather than the chunkier looking ones intended for motor homes that some folk fit. No corroding end caps, no rattles, no wind noise.

I had them completely stripped some curb rash removed from 1 and then powder coated and re-cut
2 coats of lacquer to finish.
£475 all in as I dropped them off with out tyres 😉

LV bumpers now painted and fitted, bought as Panel Van in May, outside done, inside not finished yet, but will be in time for Le Mans 26.... impressed with the tiny C-Line Bluetooth speaker, ideal for background music. This is a great forum for knowledge which has helped me a lot. :somersault:
