What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Trial fitted Rib swivel on driver seat. Used spacers to clear leisure battery while I fingure out how to get that 10mm lower.

Mine took a bit of persuading to get it to click in place everywhere.

I had a Vanstyle one on my previous van and after two years it had gone all faded and pitted so bought one on eBay this time, not sure what brand it is.

I removed the clutch pedal for a master cylinder replacement. Pedal to the floor and no resistance suggested that the MC is at fault. Fingers crossed that it's not the slave cylinder...

It looks like the cause of the failure could have been running dry. Despite being way above the minimum line, it appears that the separate clutch supply chamber sits quite high in the reservoir.
Initially there was no fluid coming out of the clutch pipe and even at this level, it will not fill the chamber. Obviously vehicle movement will keep it topped off but I was surprised to see it so high.

I would think it’s designed like that so a failed clutch system can’t reduce the fluid level to the point that the brakes fail.
