What Have You Bought Today?

Been after a bike rack for the van, didn't want the hassle of fitting a tow bar and electrics but have barn doors with a spoiler! I came across this on Facebook last week Duo by Mountain Eco and they assured me it would work so I took a punt. It's really well made and with all 6 suction cups fully attached it's capable of 600kgs of force though they rate it at 40kg for 2 bikes. On their website it shows a bike stuck to the ceiling and one of their staff members hanging off the bike! Time will tell I suppose, will I end up with a few grands worth of bike on the road? With the bike attached I have given it a real good shaking and it doesn't budge but I suppose it's only as good as the window bond?? I still have my old barn doors here without windows so might go back to these
I suggest you look a few videos about cinema cameras attached to vehicles fly off before you take your van on the road.

I'm considering this kit too, have you fitted? Does it make a huge difference?
Have fitted. Wasn’t too hard. Sound deaden if your doing it. Great difference in the sound , love them . Wish they were a bit cheaper though. Maybe a few on here could suggest a set as good for less?

New rear EGR pipe after mine had split suprise suprise. Usual hissing and fumes smell as the tell tale sign. Front had already been done by the RAC when that went last year at the side of the road.

a 3000W inverter at last. should solve any possible hair drying issues going forward.
Just seen this....did you get a Dyson hairdryer? Reasons being, our Dyson doesn't work even with a 3600w EcoFlow. Apparently Dyson use a different frequency of motor ( or something like that) tried a conventional 2600w dryer and that's been working a treat.

My wife's Dyson hairdryer works in the van with a conventional 2000 watt inverter and a Roamer 230Ah S4 battery.
It also works on the Bluetti AC180.
No issues on either, she is pleased to say!
