A tape measure for my old dad - went round his house today to do a couple of jobs for him, asked for a tape measure and was handed a tape measure that the tape had broken and curled up inside so you couldn’t use it.

I asked him what he was doing to measure things since it broke and he proceeded to give me the 70cm long bit that had snapped off

So I treated him to a new one
