I don`t know yet, it`s just a plain white van atm so nothing to see but i just bought some alloys 16" with proper van tyres fitted which i`ll fit as soon as i can. Other than the wheels it`s a blank canvass.Let's see it then jjs

New member today. Just got into campervaning this February, in a California, having been ardent campers for many years. Looking to extend, both in distance and season of our trips. Loving it so far, particularly not having to put away and re-pitch a tent...in the rain

Thanks I’ll put it here as I’m in no way tec savy enough to work out how to do it properly 
Looking for some advice yesterday the engine light came on on my t6 transporter 2017 plate, I order a code scanner which came today and have scanned it, it’s come back with p0672 cylinder 2 glow plug circuit / open, I have the van booked in for a service next week on Tuesday and have told them about the engine management light being on which they are going to look at when they do they service, wondering if I should just delete the error and see if it stays of and then just ask them to test the glow plugs rather than them charge me £80 just to plug it in and get the same error code as I’ve already got…. Just trying to save a bit of money as only had the entire fuel system change about a month ago which cost me £8500 and the wife is not impressed
Also is it ok to drive with this error code it’s thrown up as we are of on holiday at the end of next week and need to drive from Cornwall up to London to the airport
From what I’ve been reading glowplugs aren’t to spendy to get replaced but I know that at least one of them is potentially stuck in from the investigation work carried out by another mechanic whilst trying to get the bottom of what turned out to be the fuel system issue so worrying it’s not a quick fix before we go away

Thought I'd sign up up. Been loving the van since I got it in April. Have done a fair few miles already. Mainly for hiking and scenic outings around Ireland. Might get a tow bar bike rack down the line. Have planned UK'S highest peaks in September with a ferry to Scotland. Pics just after a detail I got done.

I got my T6 last summer, found the forum when looking for information to install the lock-button.
Figured I might as well sign-up as there is a lot of information on this forum!
I use my van for my dogs (2 huskies: hiking, traveling but also vet visits and stuff) but I also want to make a bed in it for “light camping” and do some more mods (wheels, insulation, sidebars, bullbar?, light, …) It doesn’t need to become an entire off-grid camping vehicle.

Hi Tess & Huskies welcome to the T6 Forum. Lots of advice on here on multiple topics including insulating. Their is also a thread where Forum members post images of their dogs.
