Water pump supply from main battery

Hi Guys
I’m planning on running a separate supply from my battery to run a Shurflo pump 4.5amps . Realistically the pump won’t operate for longer than a minute between outings ( only used to wash salt water off after a surf )
Will this be to much drain on the main battery ?
Don’t really want to go leisure battery route for a single pump

You should be fine as long as the battery is recently charged (by driving). Do it too many times, and you may have an issue.
You could always run the engine while the pump is running.
