Hi guys i am not sure if the is the place to ask about this., i mean the warranty
But here goes
This is a photo of what i am taking about
My t6 is 2 years and 5 months old
205 bhp
59.000 miles on her and my next service is due at 61.000 miles
The picture i show one of the little valves does make a noise, thump, type of thing when i hit the throttle a little bit.!! What could be wrong !
Also i have notice, when i put the clutch paddle to the bottom, some thing like a bearing make s a louder noise but when i lift my foot of the clutch paddle there is no noise,, as far as i am aware, when i got the vehicle new this did not happen,, i was. Wounding. If this. Is just a common thing,
I have been to vw they told me. It was the Release bearing, and it was common, but. As i say. I cannot remember me having this problem when i got new!!
Also. I have noticed the. Fan does not come on now. When i stop the vehicle af a long drive as it alway. Did before hand.,
Sorry guys about all these questions, but i am sure i am in the right place. To get. Great answers,
Before the. 60.000 miles Come on the clock, and get all these things sorted out before the warranty run out tks. Guys for any help. Also could i ask what do you call them little values, in the picture

Did you get this sorted?. Have you had the service and was anything picked up?

when i put the clutch paddle to the bottom, some thing like a bearing make s a louder noise but when i lift my foot of the clutch paddle there is no noise:

That will most likley be the clutch release bearing on the clutch assembley (part of the clutch pack)

one of the little valves does make a noise, thump, type of thing when i hit the throttle a little bit:

Those valves are part of the vacuum circuit

Fan does not come on now. When i stop the vehicle af a long drive as it alway:

The fan will come on after a long drive it the van was part way through a DPF-Regen cycle, or the Engine is too hot. If there is a fault the van will not attempt to do a regen. you can check if the electrical fan at the front is working by turning on the AC and the fan should start running. Or warm up the engine with the bonnet closed at say 1200rpm for a while untill the engine temp rises - the fan should come on then. but remember its speed controlled so will come on slow at first then increase in speed as required. - get the van scanned for codes to highlight any possible problems.

Tks so much for gi ing me this info, could i ask you if it was if it was the clutch release bearing, would this be covered under the 60.000 mileage warranty

I doubt it clutches are seen as consumable items unless mileage is very low and it prematurely fails

Hi Guys, tks for any help yiu give me on here , about the clutch issue or the little valve I spoke about!!!
This is it! I went to vw a few days ago to ask them to check it , for clutch problems, so they. Said, when i was getting it serviced with them they would have a closer look at it.!!
I booked it i for today., for service at 9 am this morning, and they give me a car to take out. For the day!!
They called me this evening at 5 pm, to say my motor was ready ,
I did ask them what did they do to my motor,
They put a new clutch pack in
And service the motor,
But couldn't do nothing with the thump on the valve as it was very common in the vw , s and it was not putting on the warning light!!
I was so happy in what they did. And i feel i have a brand new motor again!!
This is the mileage i have on it. In 2 years 4 months, and my third service cost me £145 for the small service, in which i was happy about, ,
I really wish you all happy motoring in your vw s as much as i do.
Thank you
