Hi
up for sale is a T6 pop top bed, which as you know sits as the inner roof of the van and then becomes the bed when the pop top is raised.
I must admit I'm not totally au fait with these, I was looking for a rear bed for my T6 as a trial to see if I could sleep in there. And saw this locally.
I didn't realise it was a pop top bed....long story short...the very kind guy didn't want any money for it, and wasn't bothered if I butchered it to make my bed board.
I hate wasting things, so cant bring myself to cut this up just for a bit of wood. So hopefully I sell it to someone who will make good use of it and I'll contact Mark and give him the money.
It appears to be three boards, all 110cm wide, with the carpet covering, they are hinged together, presumably so you can lift t get into the bed space.
The one with the struts attached is 80cm long, the next one 32cm and the last one at the other end 51cm. there are two sets of struts. not sure how they work.
Mark took this out of his new T6 a few years back when it arrived and has never used it. As you can see it will just need some of the carpet gluing back down at the edges....minor job. Sorry photos take in the back of a caddy van. But could supply more if required.
I'm guessing it must be worth at least £40 and save someone a good deal of cash.
To be collected from Ormskirk area , Lancashire, I do travel around a bit and could meet up relatively locally for the cost of fuel, but message first please.
May be best to correspond through email: [email protected]
If your keen please contact me soon as I go in for major surgery in two weeks.
cheers Alistair
