VW T5 Wiring from Main battery to Rear Leisure battery

Folks

Hoping to fit a DC to DC Charger on a VW T5 Transporter LWB

The main starter battery is in the Engine bay and the leisure batteries are right at the back in a Storage locker.


Dont want to go through the engine firewall for obvious reason's
Was wondering if there are any drain holes or such like maybe under the rear bumper ?
Could then run the 12 volt cable under the chasse , with suitable ties

Note there is a rear gas locker Seperate to the Storage locker, but it does not have a vent so cannot come through that (I guess it should have but never fitted by the original installer CamperKing)

Any thoughts would be very welcome.

Under the rubber cab floor down the middle. Not sure where you'd go from there ... What flooring do you have in the back? I assume it's stuck down if it's a conversion.

Why 2x? You can use the chassis for the negative. The starter battery is already connected as that’s what VW use. There is a negative stud inside the van in the rear corner behind the rear light.

Oh ok that makes more sense
The drivers seat has a heater under it

So maybe can go there and then follow the heater wires
