VW Omtec roof rack - Rubber bungs

Hi Guys....I have just had my roof bars added to my pop top, however the rubber bungs in the roof bars have perished.....does anyone know if their is any way of getting 6x rubber bungs to fit the roof holes that are now there!! I think they are 25mm x 20mm oval in shape.....please help ....thanks Matt

Hi Matt, I ordered a selection box of grommets from eBay and found the best fit. They are round but do fit.

They look really good @PhillH They look as good as the original oval ones. I don't suppose you have the seller on eBay that you bought them off do you, there's hundreds to choose from!!

Let me have a look, it was a good while ago which I guess is a good thing as it means they have lasted

Well @PhillH and everyone with the OMTEC VW Roof racks, with missing or worn out bolt covers......what you need are circular rubber grommets, with an interior width of 19.05mm. I bought a selection box from Amazon and the 19.05mm fit like a glove.
