Hi all, recently fitted the above amp. I had the place I purchased it from add in a rear output for speakers in the back.

The problem I’m having is that as soon as I turn the volume up, the fronts distort and pop madly. I have the gain on the amp turned all the way down, and the bass and mid turned down almost all the way.

The quality of phone calls through the standard head unit has become inaudible since too.

Advice, PLEASE!

Got a few pics of the unit and settings?

Sounds like the pre amp gain is too high.

Are you using the high level inputs to the amp?.... Or an external adapter?

The wiring that came with it, cables plug in to the preouts or speakers don’t work. Gain is turned all the way down on the amp

Yes, mines very similar, only I have connectors Rather then a soldered joint and no test tape covering. The front speakers are pluggged into the front preout cable. Rear speakers run out of the back of the amp, using the same green and purple wiring that yours does. Switches are set to full rather then hpf, he same as yours. Only difference being mine in the non satnav unit, and using standard speakers

Ignore the above, have sorted it, I had them plugged in twice. Goes much louder now
