Hi all, I've cleared this with @Pauly.
I'm John and as well as being an overly-enthusiastic T6 owner, I present a couple of programmes on VDub Radio - Johnny's Guitars on a Saturday from 12 'til 1, and The Sunday Social on (you've guessed it) a Sunday from 12 'til 2.
If you don't know about VDub Radio, it's now into its eighth year and broadcasts 24/7 at vdubradio.com. All presented content (evenings/weekends) is made by volunteers, (almost) all of whom are camper and/or van enthusiasts. There are at least four T6s, four bay window vans, a Split, two T5.1s and a T25, and that's just what I remember - anyway, that bit is not important.
The station relies on revenue from the festival roadshows - this year these include:
Revenue to keep the station on air also comes from sponsorship. Some of our sponsors include Busfest, Howden Insurance, Airstyle Magazine and Hayburner, but we are always on the lookout for new sponsors.
Each sponsored programme gets a jingle at the start, middle and end of every programme - something like "this programme is proudly sponsored by Carruthers of Crapstone, the finest mobile tropical disease containment units money can buy. For contagions, think Carruthers...." or something like that. There's also scope for a longer advert, especially with the advancements in AI that can produce jingles rather than have to rely on putting bulk orders into a voiceover studio. An advert would be played out randomly throughout the day or would (on my programme) replace the middle jingle, with a longer info piece.
Sponsorship costs £500 for 6 months - in our world that's 26 programmes, each of them branded by you or your company.
There is also scope, within the Sunday programme I produce and present, for semi-regular interviews or "and now, a word from our sponsor....."
If you're interested, or you know somebody who might be, please let me know and I can set you up with the paperwork.
