Vango embrace chairs- broken

We bought 2 vango embrace chairs in january 2020, i got the chairs out yesterday to sit in the sun with a few beers, i then noticed one of the arm poles had snapped. I then looked at the other chair and that looks like both arms are about to snap too. This is only the 3 rd time this year that we have used them, i have opened and closed them just like you would normally do. Im baffled as to why this has happened ? With both chairs now damaged it looks like its something that im doing wrong ? Is there a secret way to oprn and close these chairs ?

That looks like the holes are too close to the end in my opinion. Maybe not drilled accurately. I’d be speaking with the retailers.

I've emailed gaynor sports where I bought them from and also Vango.

Mine are similar.....Vango Titan 2 ...never had a problem.....looks like a a warranty claim
