Hi All

Eventually got round to getting the campervan lowered and new wheels/tyres after driving it around with massive gaps in the wheel arches, really pleased with the look and change in handling, less mattress style and more sure footed and direct, big thanks to the guys at THQ

looks ace! how low did you go? and what tyre size are you running with it? we are looking into this with our T5 LWB and are hoping to achieve a similar look.

Here's all the info, 40mm lowered, Twin-Adjust-Projekt Sensitiv PLUS Komfort Coilover Kit, 2 x H&R ARB's, 17" Navis MAC-AT wheels, Falken Wildpeak A/T AT3WA 235/65/17 tyres, massive difference, sure footed, more direct and drives like a car, still smile when I go round a bend, best thing I've ever done 1f44d.png

Excellent Thankyou for the information. My van is 40mm lowered so I’ll know for what wheels and tyres to go for

Love this look @tonybb66 are you still happy with the ride/performance over a year on? I am interested in going down a similar route but was unsure of the impact to daily driving - those tyres seem like a better choice than the full on swamper ones. Also are they the black or anthracite MAC-ATs?

Hi racT6bus, yeah still happy with the ride and performance, makes a massive difference for the daily drive, less rolling about, sometimes when flying round a bend in the wet its goes a little light at the front but hey that's when you have to remind yourself you are in a van and not your old Golf GTI :). The wheel finish is Satin black, need to get them redone in gloss black to match rest of the van tbh

Thanks @tonybb66 that's really good to hear. Coming from a MK7 GTI I know what you mean!!

Hi mate looks great! I’ve got a similar set up on mine same tyres but different wheels. Can I ask which spring kit you got from THQ? I’m about to press the button on the eibach 40mm adjustable lowering kit. Cheers
