Upper grille trim removal

Hi guys,

So seen a few threads where people have looked for black trims to replace the chrome ones either side of the badge on the front grille. It does appear the internet has almost every colour except black available. Is this because if you take the chrome trims off its black underneath? Does it look a bit naff? Anyone got a photo of the grille with no trims? Naked so to speak

You can pull the trim off and either paint them or wrap them - we paint all of ours.
