Tyres/Wheels Part-Ex

I'm close to ordering a High line for conversion but have 2 questions.

a) I intend to purchase new wheels/tyres to replace the standard ones delivered on the T30 so if I don't keep them as a spare set for the winter is there any companies who would take them as part-ex when purchasing new alloys (probably Wolfrace Assassins)? Or do I just sell them on EBay?
b) When insuring my Highline do I tell the insurer that I intend to convert or tell them after I take delivery when the conversion is done ?
Thanks

I am not aware of anyone who will part ex so eBay might be your best bet but I would post in the forsale section on the forum 1st to see if there are any takers.

As for the insure I would mention your intentions to make sure they will insure the modifications when complete otherwise it might be a bit of a pain to re insure it else where losing any part year no claims bonus you might have earned.

Great advice from @Rob and would second that on both counts. I'm in same position re Wheels - they are currently in the for sale section and on eBay!!

Re insurance, I did exactly as Rob suggests when I converted mine. I insured as a panel van conversion in progress, that way once converted they didn't increase the premium but I just let them know once it was completed. Herts Insurance (HIC) if your interested.
