Two Tone Interior Carpet

Thinking of lining the back of my van to emulate the cali beach interior i.e. black carpet on lower half of walls and headlining material on top half of walls and roof.

Anyone tried something similar and can offer advice?

Looks good but, the join can make or break it. I've seen many shoddy joins, not straight etc so go wth care.

Any advice on the best way to join or is just carefully butting one against the other the best bet?

Might even try black headline material on the lower so it's not as "fluffy" as carpet, just waiting for the samples

butt up ok, just take your time, Can also fold over as if creating a seam in upholstery. Probably lots of options available.

I've seen the material peel away form the join as people rub their elbows arms etc along the join.
