Has anyone got a link for the led H1 & H7 bulbs for the THQ heDlights?

I believe it's these:
H7 Philips Ultinon LED 12V 55W Headlight Bulbs (Pair)

The H1s are reflector, not projector, so probably not best suited to LEDs.

Neither the dipped or main are LED bulbs, only the daylight running lights strip within the light unit.

@Elliott Boddy might do LED capable lights - his Instagram feed advertises the aftermarket VW LED-style headlamps with LEDs

So to all those who have upgraded to the THQ headlights a couple of questions:
1. Are they a geniune and significant improvement over the original H4s?
2. Are you satisfied/happy with your purchase?
3. Do you consider them a 'good value for money' upgrade?

Why the questions? I'm visiting THQ this week with a view to making a purchase.

It appears to me that they are more for aesthetics than snything

1. A big improvement over the original H4's. Chalk and cheese comes to mind.

Do any of the latest batch of headlights use projector lenses for both dip and high beams, from what I see none do.

Just don't get that.

Full beam was fine on the H4,

It is also fine on the THQ units

It’s the dipped beam that isn’t great

The point still stands though mr Dung, why produce a halfway house product like these ?
I made my own projector headlights for my T4, what a huge different the projectors made to both the high and low beams.

Do the VW originals use projectors for both beams ?
