@z1ts mine is a 6 speed manual. I'll have to do some research into tuning boxes. I've not been a fan in the past but it looks like they have moved on.

A local tuning place suggested a tuning box. I was hoping someone else would go first haha.

The imaginatively named Bristol Transmissions!!

Customer service and client handling leaves a bit to be desired! But price, actual work done and timing etc. all perfect.

If you can handle feeling like today's biggest inconvenience to them then I'd 100% recommend!

Can you tell us more regarding the TVS DSG remap please?

The detail is covered extensively on the relative threads on this forum, but basically it gets rid of the lag when pulling away/reversing, stops it mis-gearing at junctions/roundabouts, gives you quicker/smoother gear changes, stops it trying to get into 7th gear at 42mph etc!!!!

The best few hundred I've spent on it to date in my opinion!

Nope! Just a slightly different shade of terrible!!!

In fairness driving something that takes its design hints from a brick, weighs just shy of 3 tonnes (mine does virtually all the time!), is 4wd and tows a 2000kg trailer for about 25% of the miles it does means that mpg is sadly one of those things I have to gulp, swallow and 'get-over' as I can't get my job done unless me van's a working!

I’ve been driving very conservatively recently and with the optional 80 litre tank got 745 miles with an average just over 40 mpg.
