Just interested any of you folks can recommend a decent tracker system nothing over the top expense wise but something middle exceptable range that will do the job cheers .

If you search tracker using the forums search feature you will find plenty of view, reviews and reccomendations on many trackers. It's a well covered topic.

Price really reflects if you want 24 hr monitoring. About £300 fitted but obviously monthly contract payments on top.

DIY versions much much cheaper but obviously no tracking centre or backup.

you can monitor the tracker via an APP on your phone,

install them yourself,

and a year long sim card is £40.

this one is £130, but they do others.

I just had a ghost immobiliser fitted and the offer was for a free tracker.
I had to pay an extra £50 for it to be fitted but I was happy for that.
I then could pay £149 pa for the subs or £399 for the time that I own the vehicle - so more than
2 & 1/2 years to make it worthwhile.

The tracker looks a good piece of kit, what if the thieves have a jammer will it still work

Guess there is always a way for the determined scroat!!!
From previous threads ...I think that there is a way of jamming/disabling but ....every
layer of protection will help protect your van.
Somebody mentioned that Thatcham worked on stalling said scroats for 4 minutes and then they would give up.
The immobiliser is the best bit though.
