Hi, selected one doesn’t throw out a warning (although speedo is a good 5% out on actual GPS road speed). My big concern is it will cause an issue with the adaptive cruise control - not had a long enough journey yet to confirm.Does the one selected in the photo still cause pressure warnings? I’m fitting 245s to my van when it comes. I heard of someone on a Facebook forum who had his local VW van centre add a custom setting because he was using 20in so maybe ask your local dealer
I'm not sure on a T6.1 but on a T6 the TPMS module needs the parameters flashing to it using ODIS or VCPYes Please @Deaky
Thanks Robert. This is a bit (read a lot) beyond my capabilities. Can it be done remotely?
Obd plug in and a laptop?Yes but you would need to have the hardware.
Yes but that "Obd plug" has to be able to upload your desired DATA SET file to your TPMS module.Obd plug in and a laptop?
I was hoping it would be the case, but unfortunately it's not. I've tested it myself in preparation for adding some bigger wheels and tyres, and the settings only affect the expected tyre pressure for TPMS, and have no effect on either the speedo or the odometer. On the bit i learnt - my 6.1 has the updated media and Digital dash so looking on that pic above you can just select the new tyre size and Bingo all is good.
is that correct
