What’s the consensus on fellow T6ers waving as we pass each other?! I’m an avid waver but I don’t always get the same love back…

I’m Yorkshire so generally friendly. But yeah if we venture to the big smoke we won’t waste our time!!
Probably think that a loose cow on the road here and they are being waved to slow down or speed trap ahead!
People here wave for thank you, for making way, pulling over, stopping or when slowing right down and moving over to the far side of the road when passing dog walkers.

You had better not give anyone the bird, the one finger salute then, just in case the wrong person takes insult or you may have to stick it up a nostril and go bogey hunting.
Like the Dude would say from The Big Lebowski Film- Everything's cool, wave if you want and don't get upset if none received back. sometimes old gits like me are so focused on not hitting pot holes n stuff that by the time I realise I have been waved too- it's too late to wave back. It's all good n chilled. Be happy.
, I learnt to drive in a '67 Beetle and haven't stopped waving at other enthusiasts ever since!
