Thule Awning

Hi all..has anyone had any experience fitting a thule awning rafter to their thule awning? Mines a 4900 and does not want to close fully with the fixing fitted to the outer caseing

I found the positioning quite critical, used velcro until it was right then drilled it in with a single self tapper.

Yes, but the gap is only just wide enough for the clip.
