Hi does anyone else’s awning canopy not sit flush at the rear with the awning box when wind all the way in?

Also anyone else’s brackets gone rusty after less than 12 months like mine

Just found this and yes. Brackets went rusty and started leeching down the passenger side of the van. Had to take them off and got blasted and powder coated. Look great now but still some bumpy metal underneath where the steel had rusted.

Did you ever sort the inability to close the awning all the way into the box? Would love to know what you did if so.

I took it back to the installer , and they said because it’s connected to a reimo multi rail , this rail doesn’t sit perfectly straight on the vehicle, it’s got a slight curve in it. Hence it not sitting flush at the back.
They adjusted it So it’s a bit tighter now , but I’m still not completely happy with it.
