I’m fortunate as the vans fairly new... but when they have been on and off a few times and just when you think about taking undertrays off...you think about the bluming clips that drive ya potty getting them off... and yes there is a laser special tool... but lets face it...they are just pants...

so...top tip of the day... replace the metal clips with these... sealey supply them.... TCLN2510

mercedes self tapping plastic locking nuts with an inbuilt juicy washer
all thats required....10mm socket .... nice...

some will no doubt go on about exhaust heat shields bla bla... if they get that hot they melt these off... dont drive it... dont ever get in it...or just use these maybe on the stuff your comfortable with...

anyway... hope it may help...

The add blue ones could feel a nats wotsit tight and could spin the ‘slid in threaded bar block‘ (you’ll see what i mean).. but a pair of grips and a small drillbit just to open them up a nats cock if need be..... if it saves loads of future hassle.
