Sold Thinking of selling my other VW - 1956 Splitscreen

Can’t believe I’m really posting this, but a new house purchase is forcing me to consider letting go of my RHD 1956 11 Window Splitscreen.

I bought it running and driving about 8 years ago, and I had always wanted a full resto completed on it just so that it was the nicest, shiniest in the show ground. Few years back it went to the restorers, all welding has been done and it’s ready for paint.

Can be sold with or without a garage full of parts, including a brand new stroker engine still in its
crate— all depending on how far the buyers budget might stretch!
For those who know what these restos cost, you will have an idea of how much I have already invested. I’m realistic that I’m not going to get it all back, but would still like a fair price .

I’m a little confused? You PM‘d me last week and I gave you the full breakdown on money spent, what I was looking as a sale price and a link to pictures of the bus, and the restoration pics. We exchanged a number of messages back and forth?

I’m happy to do this for any interested parties, but I do have a valid reason why I would prefer not to put full details on here in the public domain at this point in time. Sorry - I’d just like to keep some info private.

I would imagine there would be international buyers climbing over each other for a decent 1956 split screen, perhaps this is not the best platform to sell it.
