Hi. No idea re van values, but I have a 2018 150dsg Kombi, taxed as N1 Van With Windows, same as standard van. Tax last year was £320 and expecting a £20 hike this September when due again.

There was a brief period (2010) where vehicles registered during that time were subject to a lower tax rate. I think it was some kind of tax break for small businesses after the 2008 crash. Otherwise it's subject to standard rates which are currently £335/yr. If you want to save money on road tax, you'd have to buy a 14yr old van.
