The fabulous NHS.

A follow up to my wet macular journey
I’ve just this minute had an appointment sent to my NHS App for the 11th February for my assessment to remove the cataract. The NHS has been brilliant to me as in April last year I spent 3 days in hospital with a badly broken leg then weekly appointments to the fracture clinic and then July I finished up with a DVT in the same leg. 3 years treatment at the eye clinic and now I’m going to get my sight improved in my left eye. I’m over the moon.
Thank you the NHS.

I was the same with my snapped achilles. Brilliant from start to finish.
When it works it's brilliant. I just wish it wasn't such a lottery. We are under the auspices of Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust which is some sort of beacon NHS trust currently being used as an example of how things should be by the gov't.
Glad you've got a great outcome John. See you soon. Or should it be 'see me soon'
