My bus is progressing nicely, had a hiccup with the sales rep along the way so got him kicked off the job and now deal with the production manager who is fantastic.

Once the roof is finished the next big item to get started is the air ride, then it's mostly all downhill from there and should be ready in 3 weeks.

Almost there, just a few bits left to fit, front splitter, lazer lamps, VW badge hook-up, Fiamma awning, go faster stripes and the final few electricals.

We used my van as a trial for a raptor finish on the plastics, hard to tell if it was worth doing until I see it in person.

Hopefully collect next week because the shit box I'm currently driving is slowly killing me.

Really like the look of the raptor finish on the plastics, would love to see more pics when you get it! makes it a lovely deep black rather than the dulled plastics.

I have a whole spare set of front end plastics and mirrors in my garage waiting for painting was going thinking the usual gloss black but now I've seen this....

Van Haven spotted a slight warp in the roof, you can vaguely see it at the top of the windscreen, near the middle so it’ll be a few more days yet while they get that swapped over.

I’ll get some better snaps of the raptor paint for you, if I ever get to collect it

Finally picked up my van! Bought it from VW back in march and CamperMonster (Surrey) did their slimline conversion plus a few extras I requested. Absolutely love it. Future plans are gloss front end and to lower it. I wanted a minimalist style van so I went with some dark red stitching and red around the cupboard doors. It's a 22 plate 150BHP DSG with 16.5k miles!
