Team Deep Pearl Black

They look stunning when clean and shiny, I love it when I do mine. Ddfo the best colour on a van.

Is your van lowered or is it standard height? Those are the wheels I'm looking at and your van looks beautiful!
Lowered with shortened shocks. About 35 / 40mm lower.

Yeh I like the ride height as it's not too low to scuff stuff - loads of speedbumps near me and I work in random places. I might go coilovers next year - but for now it's rad.

Thanks for the compliment

Just a vent - came out thisarvo to find a lovely swipe along the drivers door.

Initially thought hit and run from car, but after a buff there isnt really looooads of damage (one big deep scratch, a little dent and scuffing).
One of those things, mebs a kid on a bike or something. But just not what I need on a Friday. Can't wait for a £300 bill to sort the door

Nice looking motor. We have a Volvo EX30 EV as a daily driver and keep the T6.1 as our adventure van. TBH having driven an EV for 18months now we’ll never go back to just a standard petrol or diesel for our daily. Range never been an issue.

Aye, we're on our 5th. Wouldn't go back to burning dead dinosaurs, at least not for our main family car.

My second EV, first Van and I’m enjoying it! Had a BMW i4 before and that sold me on EV’s just based on the driving experience. Range is not an issue for me and long journeys are pretty straightforward now as the charging network has just about caught up. The only issue I can muster about this van is that it weighs unladen over 3 tonnes, not sure they thought this through for what they sell as a beach bus haha

I think you guys need to be keeping these EVs a little longer to realise the full benefit bearing in mind true lifecycle carbon footprint of them. No dinosaurs may have died for them but a few African miners and maybe the odd Chinese miner may have.

I’ll get back to hugging my tree (and driving my diesel which is unlikely to last past 10 years due to euro rules) 😋
