As winter's hitting and the nights are drawing in, it's a good time to get sorting the ambient lighting in the van. There's loads of threads on how, so no need for more guides, but how about showing us what you got? Trying to capture the effect is difficult too.

HINT: if it's visible in daylight, it's probably courtesy lighting not ambient lighting ;) *ducks*

I want to add some red leds (into the cigarette pocket an the top and bottom door)but make them run off the brightness control near the auto lights. Like your doors Andy. Have some 12v different sizes leds on order.

The doors are easy as there's ambient lighting feeds in the door loom that illuminate the window switch panel. More difficult in the cab, I worked directly from the back of the dimmer and ran across to the passenger side. Took the whole lower dash off to get my head round it. All info is on this forum

Edit: Now written it up: https://www.t6forum.com/threads/ambient-lighting-adding-to-door-cards-and-lower-dash.25148/
