Hi all i have for sale a genuine 0em Vw T6 bike carrier 4 bikes for tailgate ( no spoiler ) been on the van 3 years so obviously some weathering but fully functional and in great condition . This item will also come with the uprated struts for your tailgate. Bargain at £300 .

Hi, yes version 2 is required, i haven't found out why yet but I'm sure some one with greater knowledge will pop along at some point.

Hi Blayne doing some digging the V2 lower mounts are positioned slightly higher than V1 . Apparently this would stop the “ potential “ of the rear lights being cracked on closure , having said this after lengthy chat with my local dealer even they cant give a definitive answer as to why its not suitable

I nicked my light with the version 2, im sure i read they made the version 2 because folk prefered the t5 bike rack look, however, this is a pure steal at £300
