T6 With Composition Media

I bought second hand Composition Media head unit which I fitted my self but I had "Components Protection Active" message, I took it to VW Dealer who removed the message and activated the radio, but I lost the Bluetooth option and CarPlay as well.
The technician at VW gave up on it as he could not activate them back even with new CarPlay licence.
see pics for more info.
Any one can shade some light, your help is much appreciated.

Looks like it hasn't been paired to the van fully and has "component protection issues" - But . . . . as Pauly says it may not be possible at-all.

i would say main dealer job . . . . . . . . . it is obviously possible to pair a NEW radio to the van....

but re-pairing a radio form another vehicle . . . . . . . I've not seen it done myself yet.

it has to be done online via ODIS to VW main server etc etc.

so its van-in-garage-connected-to-diag-equipment-connected-to-VW-server-via-internet type thing.

To my knowledge it’s not ‘officially’ possible to move a headunit to a different vehicle, theoretically you remove CP recode etc etc but it doesn’t work, the radio works but you lose all Bluetooth and media functions and I don’t think they are recoverable outside of the vehicle the headunit belongs in

Thanks guys, I think this is more logic as I called another dealer who asked me the details of the previews vehicle which did not make any sense to me at that time but now all falling in place.
