T6 usb not working since stereo fit

Hi folks I’ve fit a pioneer sph230 dab and the usb port in dash is not working now can anyone cast any light on this please ✌

Likely not been plugged in to the new head unit. Either forgotten or the original plug is not compatible with the pioneer socket for it.

You need a usb retention kit.. we stock these all the time ..

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I have the same issue with a different head unit.

I don’t need the port for connectivity, but it would be handy for it as a power source. Does anyone know how it connects to the factory head unit, and how I could get power to it?

Any help appreciated.

Having looked at these, it’s a pricey bit of kit for functionality I don’t need.

I think I’ll just run power to it from the fuse box.

I wouldn’t do that. USB is 5v. Power it through a buck converter first.
