Thanks, yes I thought the same – any suggestions on alternatives? Yes do tree cutting and on the farm etc, we need x2 towing hooks at the front

I have a pair of the Seikel ones, yet to be fitted.

They are not showing on the Seikel site either.

It may be worth phoning them.

Yes they are pricey, I bought mine secondhand off ebay, but they are cheaper than these;

But, isn’t there only a single threaded eye socket on the front?

Yes. You have to knock the existing receptor for that out of the way and bolt the stronger receptor to the chassis rail.

On the other side you have to drill a series of holes through the bumper and bolt that receptor to the chassis rail.

That’s why I haven’t fitted them yet!

2x 2T SWL eye bolts
2x barrel nuts to match the eye bolts
2 x 8.8 bolts to attach the barrel nuts to the bumper bar.
I haven’t priced it but I suspect it’s less than £50.

Thanks all for your help all, just taken delivery of a new 4 motion kombi, want to take my time getting my swamp spec right. I had the towing eye on my old 2009 2.5l kombi get ripped out few weeks ago!

Are the twin towing eyes only for general towing or are they suitable for a snatch recovery .
There are a lot of forces to snatch strap a bogged vehicle.
