T6 ticking noise when engine running [Resolved]

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and I have had my 69' T6 150 manual for a few weeks now and noticed a ticking or clicking noise from the engine with the engine running. It's there from cold or up to temperature.
The van has done 8000 miles.
The noise is not really noticable when driving but when sat in traffic at idle with the window down it certainly is.

I wondered if anyone else had this issue.

Cheers

can you get a sound clip or video of it?

do it on your phone, stationary.

then give it a coulple of revs . .

maube down by a wheel or under engine bay?

post it on youtube or other, then link to that on here.

possible DMF, idler pully, fuel lift pump, aux belt . . . etc etc etc

I hear a " tick tick tick " noise sometimes , not connected to engine speed , has always done it - I thought maybe adblue injector or something?
Keen to hear sound clip

I get a 'tick' noise on start-up (more pronounced from cold), goes away after a few seconds. It is linked to engine speed so I'm assuming its a sticky HLA and not a huge issue.

that will most likely be a few hydraulic tappets that were under pressure and drained down, . . . then refilled with oil under pressure within a few seconds at startup - thats normal.

I get this. Think it’s a/c. Or at least it stopped when I turned the a/c off!
