T6 left today with the following-

3 stage sound proofing
2 tone carpet lining with cabin matching ceiling trim to keep it light inside
Dense panel set features complete hidden fixings and recesses around lights, switches and sliding doors to miss wheel arches
4 LEDs I’m ceiling with 3 way switch
2 LEDs in tailgate
Various 12v and usb sockets

Signature audio was added using-
Hertz Mille pro front components
JL XD amp
JL 10w1 sub in our own design and manufactured underseat enclosure
JL sub control
Doors were treated to sound deadening

All running off the factory headunit

Van was finished of with B14 Bilstein coilovers and a Pendle Performance remap

One of many T6s in this week..

This one came in as a empty panel van

We add our 3 stage sound proofing.

2 tone carpet lining using our 6mm dense panel set, with recesses around switches. And on the sliding door to miss wheel arch, these panels have no visible fixings, or screwed on

Seamless lining around tailgate, no joins ...

Cabin matching ceiling trim to keep it light inside, with remote mood lighting

New ply floor with black hard wearing rubber backed carpet, also added new Kombie side step/light and full length rear threshold

Full electric hookup, leisure battery was added with various lights and sockets..

Rear Pioneer speakers were added and coded to allow the factory headunit fader to work

2 sliding windows were added and tailgate in privacy, we do not use angle grinders or jigsaws to cut the aperture, as these cause filings to rust on paintwork.

We also fitted Bilstein B14s much better stance and ride and Pendle Remap for added performance

I went to see t/56 last Thursday and spoke to Jason about getting some work done on my t6, great service the guy took the time to show me two vans one finished and another nearly completed. he explained the work that they carry out in detail and listed all the prices for me, I shall be contacting him this week to confirm a couple of things and to book in for the work to be carried out.

We have many who come from all round the UK and Europe

Some hire a car, others get a train back and even some book the holiday inn for 1 0r 2 nights, which is 2 min walk away

Hoof, thanks for the link, just looked at their website, looks very impressive. Are they doing the upgrades on your van ?
Other matters. Tracked my order last night and my van still at the docks awaiting shipping.

SWB T6 Kombie left today with the following-

3 stage sound proofing
Black carpet to the metal work, seamless lining around tailgate opening, no joins
Anthracite carpet on our 6mm dense panel set, which features complete hidden fixings and recesses around handles etc
Cabin matching ceiling trim, helps keep it light inside
Blue vinyl seat belt panels

We also added 4 cool white lights, with a 3 way switch, 2 USB sockets in the B pillars for the rear passengers and a 12v socket in rear

Lastly a upgrade to the front speakers was required, so a set of Rainbow 8.2 were added, features larger 8” door woofers and tweeters for the pillars along with sound deadening and cnc wooden collars.. plus some Pioneers were install and coded of the factory headunit to allow fader control.

Travelled down from the Midlands to get the above done. It’s a lovely job, van looks and sounds great, very happy.

Kids say the road noise etc is quieter in the back, and like the speakers. Noticeably better sound quality up front too.

I've just spent 30 mins going through this thread, there's some really great quality workmanship going into your vans, you guys are really setting a high standard.

I have a van coming in February, it's going to be fully loaded with factory toys and then a specialist near me is doing the aftermarket mods. I'm going to be very disappointed if they aren't up to your standards.

I'm doing my own conversion on my Kombi Highline 150, doing it all myself and just wanted to say how therapeutic carpet lining can be.
Been carpeting my panels and today done the sides, I'd recommend giving it a go, not as hard as you think.

I’ve been worried about every step!!!!! Read a lot on here and watched a load of video’s on YouTube. I put shed loads of silent coat on all panels first, followed by insulation from B&Q (plastic bottle stuff). I started just carpeting some small panels, then today did the long stretch from front to back in one go, including the wheel arch. It took a few hours but happy with the results.

Did you use 4 way stretch carpet ?

Not sure I bought the SWB kit of carpet and glue from Harrison’s Trim, they were really helpful, I had a good chat with him at Busfest and had a good look at their trim stuff. It’s good value and very forgiving. I’ve ripped bits off when I’ve gone wrong and it’s quiet tough but can stretch around stuff so you don’t get folds or wrinkles.
