@Absolut5 nicely finished, something I will be getting done once I’ve sourced a vehicle. What does the 3 layer insulation system comprise of?

Dynamat/Skinz with full coverage of the rear ceiling, sliding door/s, tailgate/barn door, rear quarters
Closed cell applied on top of the above
Then 30mm insulation

The last couple T6s we have had in we’re both with Kombie bulkheads

Both feature our 3 stage sound proofing

2 tone carpet lining, again seamless around the rear opening

Complete hidden fixings Dense panel set with recesses around handles, lights and on sliding door

Cabin matching ceiling trim, Oe looking, light inside and less claustrophobic

Various sockets, flush fit speakers in the ceiling were added

One of them had our Signature Audio based around our own design and manufactured underseat sub enclosure with JL Audio sub, amp and Hertz components in the front, the other had the Eton 8” door and pillar upgrade

And a Pendle Performance remap on the Sportline 204

Just love adding colour into the mix

Especially when it’s black and anthracite carpet

This red T6 long wheel base was unhappy with the previous work that was done, so we stripped it down and did the following-

3 stage sound proofing
Black and Anthracite carper, no joins around the tailgate opening,
6mm dense panel set with complete hidden fixings, no screws or clips hidden under the carpet, recesses around handles etc
Cabin matching ceiling trim keeps it Oe looking and keeps it looking light inside
6 cool white light with on/off/door switch, various sockets were added
Rear speakers

And some matching red vinyl panels added to finish the looks

New T6 came for our 3 stage sound proofing, black and anthracite carpet lining, the black makes the blue vinyl seat belt panels pop out....

Remote mood lighting which we now do not just along the sides but along the back to, which makes it look much nicer.

As with all out lining installs attention to detail is high on our list, seamless around the tailgate opening, none of the horrible cuts/joins or folds, recessed switches and handles and recesses on the sliding door to break up a normal flat panel.

This T6 also had our Signature Audio setup installed, based around the the factory headunit, using Hertz and JL Audio products, this one had a twin seat, so we dropped out sub enclosure under the middle compartment, the owner was stunned by the improvement

Finished off with Vanslam coilovers and chrome side bars.

Thankyou

Degrease the plastic
Use megavanmats carpet,
Glue both surfaces
Lay the carpet really loosely where the table sits in, if it’s to tight there won’t be enough stretch for the tight bits. work it into the corners first
The flat surface is done last

Haven’t posted for a while but been so busy.

We did one of our favourite colour combinations this week

Black and anthracite carpet with red vinyl seal belt panels, along with cabin matching ceiling trim for the Oe look and males it look less claustrophobic

3 stage sound proofing was installed first
Carpet was applied with no joins on show around the tailgate opening
6mm dense panel set with complete hidden fixings, no nasty clips or screws on show. And recesses around the handles etc
We also added led lights with on/off/door switch. Rear speakers and a AGM leisure battery and Ctek charger

The other one in the pictures is a cracking looking yellow T6 with a Abt kit, this was his work van so incorporated a box to hold his straight edges for brick laying.

Again 3 stage sound proofing

2 tone carpet lining including lining the back of the Kombi bulkhead,
Cabin matching ceiling trim
Led lighting
Rear speakers mounting flush in the ceiling, much nicer looking than pods
Full signature audio was installed to finish it off.

When we sound deadening the arches we remove the wheels and liners and do it from the out side... this leaves the arches clean and sharp looking

I’m looking to externally deaden the front wheel arches and possibly the rears as well.
Any comparisons or opinions on the two products I have in mind are very welcome. Efficiency, reliability, weight and cost (in that order) being the main factors.

Silentcoat 4mm OR Dynamat Xtreme???

If you are doing the outside then it’s Dynamt all day long, it sticks so much better than Silent coat, which tends to come unstuck

Silent coat is thicker but you don’t want to trap moisture behind when it comes off

A stunning Bamboo green had the following-

3 stage sound proofing
Anthracite carpet applied to the metalwork
Panel set with complete hidden fixings
Grey and Azure vinyl for the individual look
Mains hook up/leisure battery and sockets installed to customer requirements
Webasto diesel heater using the factory trims for the Oe look
Kenwood DNX 9190dab headunit, with parking sensor/mfd/mfsw and factory camera integration, Kenwood dash camera
Finished of with a remap using Pendle Performance software

The Orange T5 came in looking sorry for itself, it had previously been done by a previous company to a very low standard with sub standard electrics, no fusing, 3 core lamp cable being used for cabling and it was earthed via a self taper into the bed upright!

We stripped it all out and applied the following-

3stage sound proofing
2 tone carpet lining
Panel set with complete hidden fixings and recesses around handles etc, side storage was added
Cabin matching ceiling trim along with a new cab ceiling trim to keep it light inside
Ply floor with Altro was fitted with added attention to detail than most apply by taking time to cut it perfectly, we hate seeing it cut short and to long so it sticks up
Full electrics
Signature audio with rear speakers
Kenwood DMX 7017dab, Kenwood dash camera, shark fin aerial. And Pioneer reverse camera
Webasto diesel heater with 7 day timer
Genuine cruise control
Pendle Performance remap

What a transformation ! And great to see the customer back in love with his van
