AbsoluT5 carpet lining

A member dropped his immaculate T6 of to us this week and picked it up on Saturday

He had the full 3 stage sound proofing done along with black and Anthracite carpet, this features seamless around the tailgate opening and with no visible fixings holding the panels on. You cannot see or feel them and recesses on the sliding doors to miss the arch when opening and detail.

The owner wanted the same colour carpet on the ceiling as was afraid to ruin the standard cabin matching ceiling trim we normally do

4 cool white lights with a on/off/door switch and 2 high power usb sockets were added

Lastly we dropped our Signature Plus Audio in using front and rear Hertz speakers, JL Audio 5 channel amp, discrete JL Audio bass control in one of the switch blanks and a JL 10w1 sub in one of our own design and manufactured underseat sub enclosure

This makes for a massive audio sound upgrade...

Apologise for the poor description. What I was wondering was : if you unbolt the bottom bolt mount of the seat belt as well as the top - can you then thread all of that - as well as the rectangular trim piece through the new fabric without making an overly large hole in the fabric?

Hi Jason, The upgrades to my T6 are amazing.
The sound proofing and carpet lining are 1st class and the Signature Audio upgrade sounds unbelievable.
The workmanship and finish are spot on.
Cant stop looking, listening and grinning. Cheers

A lovely couple dropped their new T6 off for our 3 stage sound proofing,
Black and Anthracite carpet lining, seamless around the tailgate opening, no joins or folds as seen on so many,
Dense panel set with complete hidden fixings, no Trim buttons under the carpet, or screws. And recesses around handles and sliding door.
Red vinyl seatbelt panels where added to match red detailing on the van,
Cabin matching ceiling trim to help keep it light inside and claustrophobic,
Lighting was added with 3 way switch, tailgate lights and various sockets added to customers requirements
Lastly we add the superb Alpine PKG-RSE3hdmi flip down DVD, hdmi and usb screen. These are truly superb compared to any other flip down screen on the market.

Perhaps a stupid question but!
How do you manage to trim around the seatbelt where it exits through the C pillar without slitting the material?
Good question as I've just tried to get mine off, do you have to take off full back seatbelt ? In order to carpet that panel?

Unbolt the sear belt completely, and the strap etc goes through the ole, carpet line it and refit

As described above. Once you start by unbolting top and bottom the whole shabang can be threaded through the hole in the little panel as well as the plastic trim round the hole.

Jason, thank you so much for doing such a good job on my van last week. I was unsure about having the soundproofing as i didnt have an issue with noise but now its done its super quiet. The carpet lining is brilliant as are the lights and power/usb points. Glad i have the passenger seat base changed so it swivels.
My only regret is not having speakers put in the back but maybe the next visit if its not too much work now its been lined?
I hope to return to have B14s fitted and the driver seat base changed so it'll swivel soon.
Many thanks

Another T6 left with the following-
3 stage sound proofing
Anthracite carpet lining of the metalwork, seamless around tailgate opening
6mm panel set with recesses around handles and sliding door, then carpeted in smoke these are then fixed with no screws, clips or button clips on show.. completely hidden
Cabin matching ceiling trim to keep it light inside and less claustrophobic

We then fitted sportscraft swivel seat bases, keeping the rear plastics and modified the drivers seat base to allow the hand brake to be lowered and again retained the plastics.no horrible brackets

This T6 Panel van owned by the nicest of couple, which left us this week, ready for bed and furniture

We stripped the bulkhead out and cut the apertures out for Windows all round

3 stage sound proofing was added, then carpet lined in Anthracite and smoke
6mm panels were added with complete hidden fixings, you cannot even feel them,
The passenger seat belt was done in orange Vinyl to match the poptop,
Ply floor with Dolphin Altro, with new Kombie side step, and rear threshold was fittec
We added full electrics using AGM leisure battery, Ctek D250sa and its prewired ready for when the furniture slots in, and to keep them warm at night our favourite Webasto diesel heater along with 7 day timer
Kiravans twin swivel,
H4-H7 headlight upgrade with coding to keep dip beam working when main beam is selected
Then the windows were installed, sliders on the sliding door and opposite, fixed in the rear quarters and tailgate.
We finished it of with remote mood lighting which really blends in well when orange is selected

Gents, I really hope you can help, my T6 is having a skyline roof fitted at the end of the month and I have selected the trim option in smoke carpet. I have fully silent coated the van, dodomatted and Dacron insulated it too, also lined all the panels with MVN carpet in smoke with hidden clips, really pleased with the results for a first attempt, trying to work out how to upload some images?
My question is how would you join the carpet line to the skyline trim finish? and Absolut5 do you line the wheel arches seperately?
I really want to get this right as I'm a fussy bugger and it's got to look good!

I suggest carpet lining first before the roof goes in, remove the ceiling panels and trim up as far as you can, so when they Install the roof their box sections fit over the carpet for a perfect finish, otherwise you will struggle to butt up to their finish

The arches are all done in one piece starting from the B pillar working backwards

The owner required a easy to clean vehicle as they travel with their dogs in the back

3 stage sound proofing was installed

Then silver carpet was applied to the metalwork, for the light haired dogs

Our custom panel set with complete hidden fixings, where trimmed in Wexford Charcoal vinyl to give a different look

Cabin matching ceiling trim helps to keep it light inside and less claustrophobic
