Black and Anthracite is becoming the most popular 2 tone setup, as we always install a light ceiling to keep it from feeling claustrophobic

No joins around tailgate opening and no visible screws or clips on panels, you don’t see clips holding your door panels on why put up with them in the rear

Along with various sockets we installed a Webasto heater underneath with full silencers and with a intuitive controller ...

What do you with lining barn doors? Do you line behind the seals? Or cut it fit just inside?

We only do what most other conversion companies do is just the panel, as you cannot do a sharp clean finish,

It will fray, get dirty and wet

This LWB came in for just a Alpine X802du headunit upgrade, and to see if there was any soundproofing installed by the previous company,

On a quick inspection, there wasn’t any, and he wasn’t impressed but the carpet lining, which used the original panels, covered in suede and black clips everywhere after he saw one of ours in the workshop.

His vehicle also went to another specialist for a upgrade and again was very disappointed with the results in the wiring

So we remove everything back to a empty shell, required it, insulated and carplet lined, adding some extras along the way..

@Absolut5 Please could you PM with a quote for the following:

3-stage soundproofing in a T6 LWB Kombi.
Carpet-lining, including to the sliding door and panel on opposite side.

Also, sound-deadening up-front (if that's not already included above) along with cost to replace the speakers with components. I'm not sure what model components I'm going to go for yet, so just the cost of labour for that part would be fine for now.

Additionally, please can you give me an idea of how long you'll need the van for, and what lead time is like currently.

Cheers.

2 Transporters left this week,

Both received our 3 stage sound proofing,

Carpet lining to metal work first then to our 6mm dense panel set, these panels allow complete hidden fixings, you cannot see or feel them. Seamless lining around tailgate opening, meaning no joins on show as soon as you open it

Both receive cabin matching ceiling trim to keep it light inside and less claustrophobic

Lights and various sockets were added to cutstomers spec

One was line in Black, now we haven’t done this before but that’s what the customer wanted, but with the light ceiling it turned out looking good, and not as dark as it may seem

The other in 2 tone grey

In the next week or so we will have a really bright one to reveal..

I like the mix of black and dark grey looks classy, are you saying keep the carpeting lining light in colour inside so it looks lighter?
