T6 Aftermarket Digital Instrument Cluster

Just received a new firmware for my series 1 dash. They've fixed the TPMS PSI issue, I can also select different tyre sizes. I also had a problem with not being able to select different blind spot monitoring brightness. This is fixed too. There is a new 'long needle' dash and you can also select different themes. Just waiting to see if the range issue is fixed
I don’t know if you could help with my recent post sorry mate please? @Deaky

Hi guys, new to the forum but from what I can see, very informative and helpful. I have just installed a virtual cluster from aliexpress (seller HIRIOT) but presume they’re all the same!

Took a punt as a voucher made it £252. BARGAIN.

Few little niggly glitches which I want to sort if anyone can guide me through this, I have OBD11 membership so if I require coding, I can give that a go.

Essentially my issue is regarding fuel levels and range, after reading through this forum, setting the tank settings to 80L has given me what I think is correct levels, but the range is showing unrealistic figures. When I turn on the vehicle, I think it’s displaying the correct range I should have, this case 192miles - then a few seconds go by and it shoots up to 304miles. Anyone have any advice for this please? Video link attached - I think everything else is ok with it luckily.

Thanks in advance. All the best.

Do you definitely have the 80L tank?

I had a load of similar faffing in the belief I had an 80L tank, and it turned out it was a 70L after all. I reset to the correct capacity and everything fell into place.

I haven’t pal, I’ve just set my tank to 70L and living with it. I was going to replace it with a UK seller who sell at £600 and that didn’t work and was abit worse.

Mileage seems to reset after turning engine off and on so I do have some indication of my mileage but not sure 100%.

Ah ok mate , yes mine seems to show correct when shutting down.. im still mithering the supplier from ali express so if i get any joy ill report back, surley its just coding issue and needs an update

My range was out,you need to use vcds ,go to instruments and then basic setting I think and then scroll down to something like distance miles and change it to kilometres and click do it

The range isn't a problem, the problem is it fluctuating between two different figures. I didn't have this issue on older firmware when I bought it. Since I updated, it has this glitch. I kind of like the new T7 dials effect so I'll probably just live with it..

I did this on OBD11 but didn’t work. My range doesn’t drop when driving either annoyingly
