Which was my plan before a family illness forced this reluctant sale. However, I made a start and the Kombi has been fitted with a 9mm Sortimo Sorbogrip rear floor plus extra sound insulation, a pair of 1.9m folding bed/seats (need upholstering), twin 120a AGM auxilliary batteries, a Redarc split-charge system, a 2000w pure sine wave inverter, an electric heater, four Thule aerodynamic roof bars, swivel passenger seat, and extra door seals. No extra holes have been drilled as I wanted to keep the van in a reversible condition. I also have the Kombi rear seat and brackets, so reinstating the van as a full Kombi would be straightforward: my aim was to be able to use it as a Kombi, van or a campervan with minimal fuss.
