T6.1 sliding door seals

Hi, we have had our new T6.1 kombi about 2 weeks now, and after parking on a hill seem to have noticed the rear windows leaking. (another story)
However, on investigating this, I have also noticed that the top rubber seal for the sliding doors ( have 2) both seem to hold drips, or continue to drip on the inside, if you run your finger on the top rubber you can see it is wet. And you can sometimes see drips holding.
Has anyone else experienced this, as I don`t think it`s condensation ?.
Thanks Helen

Yes, mines just been in to the workshop to have the door seals replaced and the doors adjusted due to leaks. I have a Caravelle which has the double door seal as standard but it still didn't stop the rear doors leaking. First time it happened was when driving along in the rain - kids weren't impressed as they were getting dripped on! Second time was when I ran a pressure washer over the van for the first time. I also noticed that the front door seals also leaked with the pressure washer. All fixed now and no more leaks (fingers crossed!).

Thanks Jordy, 1 drain hole in the seal was closed, and it looked like a bit of the rubber was not fully flush in the metal trim. But the other door looks ok. Can see it being booked in when I get better pictures or video to show garage. And they can look at the sat nav, as VW customer help is terrible.
We had nothing like this on my T5.

Hi James, we haven't done anything, other than poke the window holes, and made sure the rubber seal was sitting in the gap correctly. It wasn't sitting flush in 2 places at the top of each door track. I'm still waiting for heavy rain. But , as far as I'm aware it's not leaking or giving any appearance of drips when we wash it.
It's a 4 week wait for Cardiff, so as yet it hasn't been booked in . I have bought gummipfleger but haven't used it yet.

Navara, mine is still leaking. We just had rain. It seems to be where the soft part of the rubber seal meets the metal on the sliding door. If you run a finger in between water comes running out.
It's going to be booked in tomorrow.!!

Yes mine is leaking in exactly the same place I have spoken to my dealer and provided photos and a video and informed them 4 people have the same problem the dealer has agreed to replace both door rubbers and tighten the sliding door
My dealer is greenhouse Bilston west mids another guy I was speaking to took his to listers droitwich to get the rubbers and the door sorted
Hope you get yours fixed

I'm inclined to think the doors need adjusting more than the rubber seal, as the water seems to come off the top frame rubber, and somehow, to the other main seal.
Let us know if it's sorted for you.

Hi I have the same problem with my new T6.1 and the dealer said he cannot find a fault. Please can you tell me what was the eventual outcome.

Hi I got the dealer to change the sliding door rubber and the rubber that is bonded to the van above the door, but I also had a Reimo awning rail fitted a week later no leaks since but could have been the Reimo that cured it
I had only seen one other person with this problem when mine leaked but there are a lot of people who have the same problem This needs flagging up to VW uk it’s disgusting
Hope you get yours fixed

Mine was fixed by door seal replacement and also door adjustment. Not convinced the door seals are at fault. The mechanic that I spoke to said sometime the doors need adjusting to make them close slightly tighter. Just be aware though that if you do get the doors adjusted there can be knock-on effects. In my case one of the doors was pulling in so tight it caused one of the top rollers to break (another warranty repair!).
